ANNOUNCING A SPECIAL DEAL

For a limited time only, Congregation B'nai Shalom announces introductory membership rates for the first year of membership. UP TO HALF OFF OUR REGULAR MEMBERSHIP RATES. This special deal was introduced by the Board of Directors to encourage more people to experience the spirit and joy of traditional Judaism at our shul.

The Small Print

The introductory rate is available only to people who have not been a member of B'nai Shalom in the past.  After the first year, members will be responsible for the full-scale dues structure, as described on the membership application, and for paying building fund (using one of the three plans offered.) Families who join the shul and schedule a bar or bat-mitzvah within the first three years will be responsible for meeting all dues obligations for that three year period before the scheduled date for the simcha, including one year at the introductory rate, two years at full rates, and building fund.

We welcome Jewish families and individuals who wish to join B'nai Shalom and participate in the various programs and activities offered to members.

Members in good standing are entitled to seating during High Holidays, and to attend events organized by our Sisterhood, Men's Club, Seniors and Youth groups, Education, Holocaust Memorial and Social committees. Members also receive our monthly bulletin, Traditionally Speaking, and other benefits.

Members are required to pay annual dues which vary based on age and on the number of people in their family. Members are also required to make a one-time contribution to the shul's Building Fund, to assist us in maintaining our facilities.

Members are also entitled to purchase reserved seats in the sanctuary for an additional one-time fee. These seats are used primarily during High Holidays. If you do not own a seat in the shul, one is assigned to you during High Holidays, but this may be in one of the overflow areas adjoining the sanctuary. All seats have a full view of the bimah.

Membership dues, Building Fund contributions and all other donations to the shul are tax deductible. Members receive an annual statement of contributions for their tax records.
