Congregation B'nai Shalom

Sisterhood

PURPOSE

Our very active Sisterhood is chartered by the Constitution with the following objectives:
To foster and further the highest ideals of Traditional Judaism as expressed through our synagogue;
To promote closer relationships among all its members;
To create and foster Jewish sentiment in the home and the community at large; and...
In cooperation with the Congregation, to promote and encourage religious, social, and educational activities.

The Sisterhood holds regular meetings, generally on the 2nd Monday of each month. After a quick discussion of committee reports, unfinished business, and new business, we enjoy refreshments and a program. Past events have included a Spa night, a visiting expert on handwriting analysis, a representative from the Ovens of Manitowoc bakery, Pesach recipe feast, an interior designer, a fireman talking about safety in the home, and a pharmacist discussing drug interactions (our own Rochelle Rotenberg). etc. There is a small charge at some meetings to cover supplies.

Upcoming Sisterhood Events are listed in the Calendar.
